New Ocarina of Time Glitch Lets You Shoot Arrows Without A Bow

Despite being released nearly 16 years ago, speedrunners are still finding neat glitches inside of Ocarina of Time. Take this "action swap" glitch that was documented over the weekend, for example—which lets you perform some cool item shenanigans.


Speedrunner Zas_ details a glitch which allows Link to shoot arrows despite not actually having a bow or a slingshot, in addition to showing how to use the boomerang as a sword. The latter glitch seems less useful, but still, it's a neat trick!

I have been saying for a while, we need to petition Nintendo to not REMAKE this game, but properly finish it as it was intended on the "Ultra 64" before they abandoned the disc based system for their next system. So much content left out because of the constraints of the cartridge storage at the time.
