Today is a busy day for Cyberleek, the person or group responsible for sharing over a dozen leaked gameplay clips of Grand Theft Auto 6 over the past eight days. After posting two leaks already showing a beach and a nightclub, Cyberleek has now shared another clip showing an in-game store that sells used physical games. Ironic, considering GTA 6 will be digital only.
On August 25, Cyberleek posted a new leaked gameplay clip from GTA 6. This time around, it shows Jason entering a small electronics and video game store in a strip mall. The store is named “Game Horde” and appears to sell PlayStation-like consoles and physical video games. In the leaked footage, Jason uses a scope to look closely at some of the games, consoles, controllers, and other items for sale in the shop. One of the games, “Cam Headz,” is actually an arcade game that appeared in GTA Online a few years back and is a reference to Manhunt. It also looks like Jason can buy new phone cases for his cellphone and different earbuds and headphones.

In the leaked footage, which is already spreading like wildfire across Reddit, Twitter, and other parts of the web, Cyberleek has included a new message. It seems the leaker wants to clear up their (admittedly confusing) manifesto about digital game pre-orders and physical discs.
“People are confused,” explained Cyberleek in an on-screen message. “This is not about actual discs. It is about ownership. Resale rights still matter—even in a digital-only era.”
While I do agree with the sentiment, it’s hard to take Cyberleek seriously when they are also pushing their own cryptocoin and charging people money to vote on which clips are released next. As of August 25, the leaker’s site is teasing access to footage of the prologue featuring Lucia, the game’s other playable character who has yet to appear in any footage leaked by Cyberleek.
Since August 18, Cyberleek has been posting leaked clips of GTA 6 almost daily to their website. Take-Two Interactive has seemingly confirmed they are real by getting them removed via copyright complaints, though it seems either the company has stopped trying or there are just too many to remove them all, as it is fairly easy to find the leaks on Twitter and Reddit now. Meanwhile, as we get closer to the August 27 Netflix gameplay reveal, Take-Two is trying to hunt down the leaker and is issuing subpoenas to companies who might have information on who Cyberleek is and where to find the person or group. Discord says it has yet to be officially served with a subpoena.
So far, the leaker hasn’t shared any story details or major cutscenes. But with Cyberleek ramping up their war against Take-Two by asking people to actually visit the company’s HQ to protest and now teasing the release of GTA 6‘s prologue, it seems things might be escalating soon. The leaker has mostly been tolerated by the GTA community online, but if they start leaking actual story spoilers and cutscenes, sentiment might change quickly.
