To tell you guys the truth i really never got what the big fuss on F.E.A.R was about. Back when the first was released i really was not interested in the way it looked at all, but i knew i would eventually play it being a horror game extremist. In fact I live on horror films and games, watching and playing them on most of my free time. My friends picked it up and were extremely hyped about it, "Dude, this is the scariest shit you'll ever play!!" so i borrowed a copy from a friend and popped it into my 360. Not once. ONCE. did i jump during F.E.A.R, though the gunplay was fun the game really didn't give me a sense of urgency and panic that games such as Dead Space and The older Silent Hills gave me. The scares in F.E.A.R came off as cheap tacky jump scares that most of the time was expected. Overall i felt it was decent but no wheres near scary enough. How did F.E.A.R 2 fair?
