Dear Trion Worlds. I am terribly sorry I missed our appointment at E3 2010. If it's any comfort, the E3 trailer for your MMO Rift: Planes of Telara looks very pretty.
Rift is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game with a very intriguing concept. The land of Telara is being ravaged by rifts opening in the very fabric of reality, each new tear bringing new horrors to a world on the brink of destruction. It's the sort of storyline that allows for infinite variety in creatures, storylines, and environments. IF the designers want to add an enemy that doesn't quite fit the existing game world, all they need to do is tear open another rift. It's right there in the game name!
I was meant to see the game early Thursday morning at E3, but issues with hotel checkout kept me from making my appointment.
And while I can't tell you much more about Rift: Planes of Telara, Trion Worlds has an entire website dedicated to doing just that.
