The 13th annual Independent Games Festival has named the nearly 400 entrants vying for awards in this year's competition, an impressive list that includes surprise hit Minecraft, Cave Story, Explosionade and hundreds more. And you can preview every single one.

The record number of entries in this year's IGF battle including plenty of games we've played and covered, including real-world chore RPG EpicWin, turn based strategy game Skulls of the Shogun, inventive puzzler Slam Bolt Scrappers, and old school platformer Bit.Trip Runner. Other entries include indie horror adventure Amnesia: The Dark Descent, the addictive one-button orbital arcade game Faraway, and four-dimensional brain twister Miegakure. Oh, we could go on and on.

But you'll probably want to check out all these games for yourself, if only to see if Contrasaurus: Defender of the American Dream lives up to its name and pitch: "You are a dinosaur.
