This year, 2009, isn't yet over, but Microsoft is already talking about next year — namely the biggest game of next year. That game, says Microsoft, will be Halo: Reach.

Next year will see the release of Final Fantasy XIII in the West, God of War III, Gran Turismo 5, Mass Effect 2 and StarCraft II. "I feel confident that there's nothing that will compare in size," Xbox exec Aaron Greenberg told website Gamasutra. "Halo: Reach will be the biggest game of 2010."

All of those title are big, big games.

But Halo: Reach will eclipse them all, Microsoft says. Agree? Disagree? Discuss!

God, it sickens me how gamers turn into pretentious fucks when it comes to Halo.

It is a good, solid, fun game that pushed console shooters forward by quite a bit. No one cares what PC game did this or that first.

People hate on the fanbase for Halo—much of which is VERY merited—but it is the exact same as those of COD, maybe even a little better considering that there isn't the vocal group of mundane fucks that say "I can't play games where I'm shooting aliens and monsters and shit. That shit is stupid"

We are lucky that we love a medium where the products that are very popular largely deserve it. This cannot even begin to be said about Movies or Music, evidenced by: Paul Blart, Transformers 2, Nickelback, and Soulja boy.
