Over the weekend, Mini-Bash had his field day at school. Kids ran races, play instruments, sang songs. It was a good time. There, of course, were a couple parent child races — you know, the stuff they do to embarrass the parents so the children can laugh and point.
One of the races was carrying the kid while running with a newspaper pressed against your body. Rules said you couldn’t actually hold the paper and if it fell down, you had to start over.
I was able to successfully do the race — with the newspaper over my face. That rhymed, I know. Crazy!
