Say what you will about Marvel Rivals’ “gooner” outfits and developer NetEase’s insistence that it’s not actively trying to make sexy outfits despite evidence to the contrary, but at least the game is an equal opportunity space for everybody to get eye candy. Everybody gets skimpy outfits, so there’s probably someone for you to ogle. Now, we can add Magneto to this list, because goddamn, the Untamed Overlord skin is some crazy work from NetEase’s art team.
The costume originates from Rogue: The Savage Land limited series, which is set in a prehistoric land and has Magneto dressed in a torn-up version of his usual costume. NetEase, never one to be outdone in making something skimpy, has leaned even harder into the wear and tear, and Magneto’s original costume is barely hanging on by a few threads at this point. The craziest part is that it frames the guy’s bulge in between what looks like two bones on his belt.
As you might expect, Rivals fans are taking it very, very well.
“The way Netease changed the skin to show MORE skin is crazy, gotta love them,” a Redditor wrote.

The Untamed Overlord skin will come to Marvel Rivals in the game’s next season, which arrives tomorrow, May 15. This update also adds Devil Dinosaur to the roster, who hopefully will actually fit through the map by the time the season goes live for everyone.
