Why isn't this future Nintendo 3DS video game, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, included alongside the other 3DS videos Kotaku posted earlier today? Because you'd probably gloss right over this one, missing out on the most intense walking we've ever seen from Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog.
The Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games shows just how fast Sonic and his sidekick Miles "Tails" Prower can move, as long as one sneakered furry foot is touching the ground at all times. I doubt you've seen race walking of this caliber in a video game before.
If race walking isn't enough to convince you to click the play button, note that you'll also have the pleasure of watching Dr. Robotnik work a shuttlecock and Metal Sonic row, row, row a kayak.
There's also some footage of Mario putting Luigi into submission if you're into plumber on plumber violence.
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games comes to the 3DS in early 2012. Walk, do not run, to pre-order.
