On August 28, in the Japanese city of Takasaki in Gunma Prefecture, 32-year-old Tsutomu Takabayashi was arrested for trying to kill his older sister.
According to Sankei News, that afternoon at around 2:30pm, Takabayashi apparently screamed "I'm going to kill you" as he choked his 35-year-old sister with his bare hands.
His sister suffered minor injuries to her neck. Reports did not specify the console's make and model.
The cause of this ruckus: Takabayashi wanted to sell his game console, but his sis hid the machine, setting him off.
Sankei News pointed out that both Takabayashi and his sister were unemployed (Japanese news loves to note which criminals are company employees and which ones are either part-time or unemployed.)
Choking people is bad. Don't do it. But the difference between these siblings fighting like cats and dogs now and doing it twenty-five years ago? Cops.
