The Logitech MX Brio Ultra HD 4K Webcam is the company’s top-end consumer cam. It’s targeted at remote workers, podcasters, streamers, and others who spend extended time on video calls and need the highest-quality video a webcam can deliver. The MX Brio captures native 4K at 30 frames per second and 1080p at 60 frames per second. It also includes support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) and AI-enhanced low-light capabilities to pull out details from poorly lit rooms. An 8.5 megapixel image sensor is located behind the lens of the MX Brio and is roughly double the size of the image sensor used in the prior Brio 4K Pro Business.

You can get the Logitech MX Brio for $170 on Amazon right now, $30 below the $200 list price, which works out to 15% discount.

The 8.5MP sensor in the MX Brio is twice the physical size of the sensor in Logitech’s previous Brio 4K Pro Business model. Larger sensors gather more light per pixel, which improves color accuracy, reduces image noise in dim conditions, and gives the camera more dynamic range to work with. HDR processing runs on top of the raw sensor output and stretches the visible detail in both bright and shadowed areas of the frame.

Show Mode tilts the camera downward with a single hand gesture, useful for showing items on the desk during a presentation, demonstrating a product to a client, or working through a physical document with a remote team. The camera switches back to normal framing with another gentle tilt up. You can run the same function manually in Logi Options+ if you prefer a button press over a physical motion.

Two omnidirectional noise-reducing microphones sit at the top of the camera body and capture stereo audio with automatic background noise reduction. The mics are good enough for daily video calls and reasonable podcast guest spots without a separate USB microphone, though serious audio work still benefits from dedicated gear.

The privacy shutter slides across the lens with a thumb when not in use, a small but meaningful touch for users who keep the camera mounted on a monitor all day. AI-enhanced auto-framing keeps you centered in the frame as you move around in your chair, with optional 4x digital zoom for tighter crops on smaller monitors.

Logitech ships the MX Brio with a USB-C cable rather than the older USB-A port used on the previous generation, allowing it to connect directly to current MacBooks, Windows ultrabooks, and iPads without an adapter. The Logi Options+ software handles firmware updates, color and exposure tuning, and Show Mode customization across Windows and macOS.

At $170 on Amazon, the MX Brio is $30 off Logitech’s $200 sticker. That discount brings the MX Brio close to the price of Logitech’s older mid-tier webcams while delivering the larger sensor, HDR, USB-C connection, and Show Mode that define the company’s current flagship model.
