That’s its lowest price of 2026 thus far.
The headline spec is the 10Gbps WAN/LAN port paired with a 2.5Gbps WAN/LAN port and three additional 2.5Gbps LAN ports. That wired LAN option matters if you have a multi-gig internet plan that can actually push data at those speeds. Most routers at this price top out at a single 2.5Gbps port and leave the rest at 1Gbps. With the BE9700, wireless tops out at a combined 9,700Mbps across three bands: 5,765Mbps on the 6GHz band, 2,882Mbps on the 5GHz band, and 1,032Mbps on 2.4GHz. The 6GHz band with 320MHz channel support is where WiFi 7 earns its generational label, and six positioned antennas with Beamforming focus that signal toward devices and coverage gaps rather than broadcasting it generically.
The New Standard
Even if you’re running WiFi 6E and feeling good about it, WiFi 7 ups the ante with Multi-Link Operation.
