Promised for delivery by April 30, NLL Lacrosse 2010 arrived a week early on Xbox Live's Indie Games channel. The $5 download delivers all the players on all 11 teams of the National Lacrosse League.

NLL Lacrosse 2010 is the first fully licensed title to appear on the Indie Games channel, and the first pro lacrosse video game of any type since Blast Lacrosse of 2001 on the PSOne. It's also the first Indie game with brand sponsorship in its title: Reebok Lacrosse is the game's official presenter.

Lacrosse is considered a niche draw limited to Canada and the northeastern U.S., but has a fervent fanbase that's long clamored for its own video game.

"I'm really happy the way development went for NLL Lacrosse 2010 presented by Reebok," said Crosse Studios' Carlo Sunseri, in a statement. "The gameplay is fast, hard hitting, and extremely addicting. I think that all of our fans will really enjoy playing as their favorite pro lacrosse players."

The game, which costs 400 Microsoft Points, was developed by Jonathan "Fritz" Ackerly of U.K.-based Triple B Games.
