The full-length live-action trailer for Mortal Kombat Vita is here, making me think that perhaps I need to tone up a bit more, maybe visit a tailor before the game arrives.
We saw brief flashes of Kitana's outfit in the teaser version of this Mortal Kombat Vita ad, and it didn't look half bad, if you're intro the whole alien ninja woman thing. It isn't quite my cup of tea, however, so instead of appreciating the look, I'm focused on the fact that they really should not have shot that outfit from behind.
That's not a comment on the model chosen for the ad; she's perfectly lovely. She's just forced to wear a costume bottom that doesn't look all that attractive while posing on the ledge of a building. We've all been there. This is Earth, not some Netherrealm stronghold where the fabric never bunches.
The point of this ad is that, thanks to the Vita version of Mortal Kombat, you can step into the role of your favorite character. Or at least the one that looks the most like you. I'm a big fan of Jade, but I don't think I'd look very good in the outfit. I could be wrong. Don't you dare Photoshop me.
