Leisure Suit Larry will return, no in glorious, extra-titillating high-definition, next year, thanks to the people at Replay Games. The remake of Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards is coming to everything, just the start of a planned Larry revival.
EGM reports that Replay Games has tapped Leisure Suit Larry creator Al Lowe to participate in the revival of the graphic adventure series, with HD remakes of the first seven games planned. An update of the first game, originally released in 1987 (and remade four years later) is expected to hit Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, OnLive and Steam at minimum.
Remakes of the two most recent and perhaps most reviled games, Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude and Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust, are not in the works apparently. But original Leisure Suit Larry games are, according to EGM's write-up.
