CultureNo Wonder Infamous: Second Son Makes Me So Hungry
Seattle is a great city for foodies, even if those foodies are super-powered fugitives from corrupt justice. The fake food-obsessed Paul Yan of Enjoy the Bits captured scenes of Infamous: Second Son at its tastiest. Not only has Paul wandered the streets of digital Seattle snapping picture of food, he’s also cataloged the game’s restaurants,…

UncategorizedWhat Happens When A Star Wars Bro Fights A Harry Potter Bro
Horrible things happen when bros stop chilling, and instead start nerding out. Horrible, horrible things. Even abominations like striking your fellow bro become possible in those situations, as this clip by RackaRacka shows. Let this be a lesson to all of you watching out there. Love your bro, for the consequences may be too great…

UncategorizedEven When They’re Useless, Titans In Titanfall Are The Best
Aww. Look at the auto-Titans trying their best to protect their pilot—even if it means destroying themselves in the process. It’s the result of lackluster artificial intelligence. But it’s also kind of endearing, don’t you think? They’re trying their best! DefendTheHouse is back with another “Mythbuster” episode, and in this one, they test out what…

UncategorizedSorry, Rabbits, This Strategy Game Says You Have To Die
For fantasy buffs of a certain age, there’s a series of books dearer to our hearts than Lord of the Rings or even—dare I say it—Harry Potter. I’m talking about Redwall, the kid-friendly epic that reads like Games of Thrones with furry little animals instead of gratuitous raunchy sex. Unlike those other series, however, Redwall…

The Argument That Dark Souls II Is Terrible
Most people agree that Dark Souls II is pretty good. There are some open questions about whether it improves upon its predecessor, or whether it’s as good as was expected, but for the most part: Pretty darn good. That’s most people. Some don’t agree. One notable dissenter is Michael Thomsen, who, writing for Forbes, posits…

UncategorizedI Played 45 Minutes Of Destiny, And It Was Kind Of Boring
Earlier this month, I got a chance to fly up to Washington and try Bungie’s upcoming sci-fi shooter, Destiny. Walking through the Bellevue office for the first time, I’m struck by all the accolades lining the walls near the reception area. Here, a giant, life-sized statue of Master Chief stands tall, casting a shadow. Bungie…

Wow, Pac-Man Sure Is A Lot More Complicated Than I Remember
Oh wait, this isn’t Pac-Man at all, just an overly-complex free-to-play Puzzle & Dragons clone called Pac-Man Monsters, now available on Google Play and iOS. There’s a lot of complaining about classic PC properties being perverted into mobile games these days, but what about poor Pac-Man? Save for the excellent Pac-Man Championship Edition games, most…

Awesome Photos From The Atari Landfill
E.T. wasn’t the only thing excavators found in the Atari landfill this weekend. And while digging in Alamogordo, New Mexico over the weekend, a construction…
