Sunless Sea Is Great On iPad
The beautifully-written survival exploration game Sunless Sea came to iPad last week. It feels right at home on mobile. You play as a sea captain in a steampunk/Lovecraftian/fantasy version of London that’s fallen beneath the surface of the earth and onto a subterranean sea. You set out from your home port of Fallen London in…

Months Later, OneShot Gets A New Ending
In OneShot, the main character knows about you, the player, and the two of you form a bond that’s really friggin’ sweet. It’s a very meta game, full of puzzles that sometimes escape the bounds of the game world entirely. Case in point: a puzzle that was, for months, the one thing players couldn’t figure…

EsportsSmash 4’s Competitive Scene Is Hype Because Nintendo Leaves It Alone
Last weekend’s Super Smash Bros. 4 tournament, one of the most anticipated yet, was a wrestling-style rivalry match between two crews led by two Smash titans. UncategorizedYou Can Do A Lot Of Role-Playing In The PS4’s Latest Baseball Game
When Sony says MLB The Show 17 includes a third-person baseball role-playing game, they aren’t exaggerating. I’m not just playing baseball. I’m role-playing a character who’s playing baseball, and he’ll be damned if he’s drafted by the Florida Marlins. It’s not just about playing games, building stats, unlocking perks and making your mark on Major…

Uwe Boll’s Restaurant Is Better Than His Movies
Ex-film director and notorious crank Uwe Boll now spends most of his time running a restaurant in Vancouver, and by some accounts it’s the best thing he’s ever done.
