Drove over to Kobe this morning for some quick shopping IKEA shopping. It was fun! We bought a desk for the boys. A long desk so they can share it and study together. I envision…fights. But that’s part of growing up!
Out of all the traditional looking cities in Japan, my favorite is Kyoto — hands down. But for a truly beautiful, modern-looking city, Kobe is tops.
Of course, when I think about how so much of the really modern buildings and structures where built in Kobe, I get depressed… (After the devastating Great Hanshin Earthquake.) Still, with the harbor and the mountains, Kobe is truly spectacular.
