Japanese gamers liked last week's sales chart so much, they bought the exact same games, making for an encore sales presentation. Once again, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Gyakuten Kenji and Shin Sangoku Musou 5 Empires win, place, and show.
That puts Square Enix's newest Kingdom Hearts game for the Nintendo DS at over 400,000 copies sold in just two weeks. While some of last week's new debuts didn't have the legs that the top three did, some, like Yuusha 30, held on for a second week top ten showing.
Thanks in part to just a trio of new bestselling releases—Arc Rise Fantasia for the Wii and Evangelion: Jo for the PSP and PS2—the top thirty is comprised of mostly "evergreen" titles. Notable is the sticking power of Shin Sangoku Musou 5 Empires which had nice second week sales for a PlayStation 3 release.
The top 30, according to Media Create, for the week of June 1 to June 7 is after this.
