Ken Kutaragi, known as the “Father of the Playstation,” will receive a lifetime achievement award from the Game Developers Choice Awards on March 19 at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Mark Cerny, the PS4’s lead architect, will present the award to Kutaragi, the former CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment.
