I only slightly exaggerate; Block B’s Nillili Mambo is probably one of the most energetic and motivational K-Pop songs out there. (If you have any more recommendations, shout them out in the comments!)

Block B is a seven-member boy band who have endured their fair share of dramatic moments, including (not in any particular order): contractual issues, an attitude controversy, a head-shaving moment following said attitude controversy, an agency change, and the suicide of their ex-CEO.

Despite a history worthy of any K-drama, Block B is still alive and kicking; their latest track, Don’t Leave, just came out a few months ago and is a deliciously melancholic ballad. It’s a bit of a departure from their usual line of work and might give us a glimpse into where this group might take things in the future.
