Akdong Musician (sometimes stylized as AKMU) is like nothing else in K-Pop, which is honestly some of the highest praise anyone can give to a K-Pop artist.

This brother-sister duo of Chanhyuk and Suhyun rose to fame through season 2 of K-Pop Star, a talent elimination show, and promptly signed on to YG Entertainment. Since then, they’ve been cranking out self-produced songs like nobody’s business, and pretty much all of them are the equivalent of 500 Days Of Summer, if 500 Days Of Summer were quirky and bouncy K-Pop tracks.

Give Love is one of my particular favorites, but you can’t go wrong with any of their title tracks — their latest one, Dinosaur, is a bit of an evolution from their usual fare (a bit less acoustic, to start), but still really great.
