I may be slightly biased in saying this, as I have British family, but games - or, at least fantasy games - always sound more professional to me when they hire a good, English cast to handle the voice work.
Case in point: this is John Cleese, of Monty Python and Fawlty Towers fame, recording some of his lines for Lionhead's upcoming Xbox adventure Fable III.
Lucky they cast him in the role of someone with "warmth and emotional identification", when those are two of Cleese's specialities!

Rounding out the excellent case are two other acclaimed British actors, Stephen Fry and Sir Ben Kingsley.
