Here's an odd grouping of downloadable songs for Rock Band due out this coming Wednesday. You get the classic Southern Island rock of Jimmy Buffett in three tracks he recorded specifically for the game, "Margaritaville", "Cheeseburger In Paradise", and my personal favorite, "Volcano."
If that's all a bit too mild for you, next week also sees the release of three songs from Disturbed's new album Indestructible. As mentioned previously, fans who preordered the album from Best Buy can enter a code to get two songs, "Indestructible" and "Inside The Fire", while folks who didn't preorder the CD can snag those two plus the track "Perfect Insanity" for $.99 a piece for a limited time, or $2.40 for all three. The Buffett will still run you the normal $1.99 a song fee, but that's nothing compared to how much Jimmy fans have spent over the years on foam cheeseburgers and parrot headgear.
