Now that Japan's game release schedule is back on, well, schedule, what are Japanese video game fans spending their hard-earned yen on? Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 Professional for one thing. Haruhi Suzumiya games for two more.

Square Enix's Dragon Quest spin-off continues to dominate Japanese sales charts, but a pair of Haruhi Suzumiya adventure titles for the PlayStation 3 and PSP managed to sell a good number of units combined. Wedged in-between those Haruhi games is the latest Nintendo 3DS game, Steel Diver, which debuts at third.

Two other Nintendo 3DS games continue to hold onto the top 20, with nintendogs + cats and Pilotwings Resort showing signs of evergreen sales overseas.
