EA Sports tucked news of tomorrow's global release of its FIFA World Cup 2010 demo inside some marketing copy about the game's soundtrack, which no one cares about. Talk about burying the lede.
The demo matches Italy and Spain, who last met with big money on the table in the quarterfinals of the 2008 UEFA European Championships, which went to penalty kicks. Spain of course won that and went on to the championship, part of a very good year in sports for that country.
It's all yours beginning tomorrow over the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The game's "two-button" control set, meant to improve access to dumb down the game for hapless American luddites like yours truly, will be an option within the demo.
If you do in fact care about the soundtrack, you can see who's performing at the link.
