Okay, that explains why Kevin Smith's hetero lifemate Jason Mewes was hanging out at the Popcap both at San Diego Comic-Con earlier today.
Folks at Popcap tell me that Jay and Silent Bob's real-life counterparts are huge fans of the franchise, which is why we're getting a series of animated shorts in which the fictional characters meet plants and zombies.
The first one's free via MTV Geek, as long as you don't mind sitting through a lengthy commercial to see what's essentially a lengthy commercial.
