Game developer, Spike, is releasing a new role playing game for the PSP this April where one of the objectives is to save the world by conceiving children.

In the world of Conception, the player plays the part of Itsuki Yuge, a high school student summoned to the magic world of Granbania. There he must impregnate 12 chosen women through a "bonding of souls" (no nudity), and together with his newborn "Star Children," he must battle to purify the world.

Conception is scheduled for release on April 26th in Japan. Regardless of how the game turns out, it's certainly raised a lot of eyebrows. And when it's released, it will raise lots of children.

you know, first I thought it was a joke by some uptight religious entity about being Anti-Abortion and not using prophylactics in a dream world where you can manipulate your surroundings and other stuff because "Conception" looks a lot like "INCEPTION" and I was going to drop a major threadbomb on this but now I'm wrong and I'm sorry.

unrelated sidenote: how would that anti-abortion game play out anyway?
