A blockbuster hit in the iTunes App Store, Epic Games' Infinity Blade has grown too big to be contained by a handheld device, so Adrenalin Amusements has transformed it into a full-sized arcade game.
Epic has teamed up with Adrenaline Amusements to create Infinity Blade FX, an arcade cabinet port of the popular swipe and slash fantasy combat game that uses Adrenaline's TouchFX platform to supersize the touch controls from the iPhone / iPad version. The cabinet is crowned by a 46-inch multi-touch capable display. Adrenaline has already utilized this tech to create arcade versions of Fruit Ninja and Flight Control. Infinity Blade FX will be available in both single-player and two-screen multiplayer configurations.
When can we play it? After its debut appearance at the Gaming and Electronics Expo (GEEX) in Salt Lake City, Utah this week, Infinity Blade FX will be rolling out to Dave & Busters locations throughout the country by October 28.
