Having never attended any sort of Black Friday sale and finding myself with a plethora of free on Thanksgiving evening, I decided to see what GameStop is like when the deals go live. Behold my tale of giddy triumph and tragic line-standing.

I spent most of my nearly three hour wait in line outside the GameStop on Mansell Road in Roswell, Georgia debating whether I should purchase the $199 160GB PlayStation 3 bundle they were offering as a limited special. As the doors opened I was firmly against the purchase. After I moved on the deal lover inside me started twisting itself up in knots, so I stood in line for a chance, after throwing away a perfectly reasonable one.
