Phew! Mrs. Bashcraft and Mini-Bash boarded a plane for Texas today, leaving me and Micro together. This morning was spent outside, playing baseball and walking to the drugstore. We then went to a playground. The idea is to go outside in the morning and exercise so the kid gets tired when he comes back home, freeing me up to write.
And today it worked brilliantly!
It’s easy to forget that things are twice as far for little kids cos they’re so short. So walking to the drugstore would be like walking from my house to, I dunno, the airport or something crazy.
