Open thread. Anything goes. Just don't call it Kotaku Off Topic. Or do. You make the rules—well, some of them—in this post that's not about video games, but might be briefly about game shows.
Speaking of gaming, I was in Las Vegas this weekend for this year's EVO fighting game tournament. Despite working some crazy hours, rarely have I had so much fun in the city. And it was 100-plus degrees every day and night, surprisingly not much of a damper on the festivities. The most surprising outcome of the weekend-long event was how interested I became in playing more fighting games and investing in a better fight stick. Gotta get on that and find some time to improve.
Here are a few things you might be interested in, like who won't be playing the softer side of the Hulk in Marvel's Avengers movie. If you'd like to share more interesting ideas and conversations with the group, please, be our guest.

- Edward Norton won't be Bruce Banner in The Avengers movie - Gee, I wonder why! Norton's agent isn't happy, but Ed seems to be taking it gracefully.
- The story of The Price Is Right's perfect bid - Don't miss the video of Drew Carey's robotic hosting.
- More crazy Mel Gibson - This time with max mad audio. It's full of pottymouth talk.
