How to Get 10 Awesome Free GBA Games on Your 3DS, If You’re an ‘Ambassador’

Did you buy a 3DS back when it cost $250, then watch the price drop $80 and take Nintendo up on their offer to give you 20 games as an apology? If so, then you can get the second half of that apology right now.

All you need to have done before today was register for the 3DS Ambassador Program this past summer. Now, just do what I do in the video here and you’ll suddenly have a 3DS that contains…

F-Zero Maximum Velocity

Super Mario Advance: Yoshi’s Island

The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Kirby and the Amazing Mirror

Mario Kart Advance

Mario vs. Donkey Kong

Metroid Fusion

Wario Land 4

Wario Ware, Inc. Mega Microgame$

Those are 10 of the best games ever on the Game Boy Advance. The only major Nintendo franchises not included there that flourished on the GBA are Advance Wars and Pokemon. But how can you complain about this?

Unfortunately, if you’re not a 3DS ambassador, Nintendo will not let you download these games. They won’t even let you pay for them. Strange, right? Surely, at some point, they’ll make them available. Until then, fellow ambassadors, enjoy!

For those who missed the first batch of games released to Ambassadors, check the same download history that I show you in this video. You should find 10 classic Nintendo Entertainment System games, including The Legend of Zelda and Metroid among the available downloads.

The GBA ambassador games went live in Japan earlier this week. As of today, gamers in other regions can get them too. I’m in America, so I can vouch four our country. Europeans, I hope you’re set too.
