Nintendo's Amabassador Program is its way of rewarding Nintendo 3DS owners who purchased the device before its pricecut. There have already been a whole host of Famicom (Nintendo Entertainment System) games released free of charge. Up next, Game Boy Advance games. But which ones?
According to these photos, the following games will available for download on Dec. 16:
F-Zero Maximum Velocity
Super Mario Advance 3
The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
Mario Kart Advance
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Metroid Fusion
Wario Land 4
Wario Ware, Inc. Mega Microgame$
The photos look legit. However, I put a rumor tag on this, because Nintendo is apparently sending this list out to 3DS owners in Japan via 3DS. Apparently, because I have not yet received the message. Moreover, at the time of posting, Nintendo hasn't updated its Ambassador site.
Though, launching this the day before the Vita goes on sale, Dec. 17, shows Nintendo is playing for keeps in the handheld war.
Update: It's real.
