How To Collect Every Ending In Stories: The Path Of Destinies

With 24 different alternate endings based on four major decisions made during each play through, collecting all of the conclusions to Stories: The Path of Destinies is a daunting task. Here’s a spoiler-free guide on filling up the game’s ending board.

As I mentioned over the weekend, I’ve been obsessing over gathering each of Stories’ 24 endings since burning through the initial four and the game’s true ending shortly after Evan Narcisse posted his review of the game.

Once Reynardo the fox uncovers the four truths during his initial runs against the evil Empire, the game guides the player through its true ending. After that there are 20 more spaces to fill on the ending board. Choices leading to a new ending are highlighted with an exclamation point, but as you fill the board and exhaust the early decisions, keeping track of which paths I took grew more difficult. I found myself poring over each story trying to find what branched where and when.

But I pushed through so you won’t have to. Here are the choices required to unlock each of the game’s 24 sub-endings. I suggest discovering as many as you can on your own, and then using this guide to fill in the blanks.
