Being a Bounty Hunter in Star Wars: The Old Republic takes more than just scrounging up a missile-firing backpack and avoiding sarlacc pits. It’s also about choosing whether you want to become a Mercenary or a Powertech when you grow up. What’s the difference?
For starters, the Mercenary seems much more serious about his profession. It’s right there in the name: Mercenary. That’s a title that demanded respect, at least in the pre-Dog days. The Powertech, on the other hand, sounds like either an 80’s cartoon show or a spin-off series of Transformers toys. I’d pay good money for a MISB Powertech Optimus Prime.
