This year marks the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. To celebrate, Nintendo isn't giving Zelda or Link presents. It's giving you one.
Between Sept. 28 and Feb. 20, 2012, players can download a DSiWare version of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition, free of charge.
The game features wireless multiplayer and a new single-player mode. The game was originally released on the GameCube in 2004.
Between Oct. 3, and Feb. 20, 2012, select retailers will also be offering special Zelda themed Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card that depicts Link fighting Ganon. These cards, like so many things in life, are not free.
