Halo 5 is free to download and free to play for the next week (June 29 to July 5) if you’re an Xbox Live Gold subscriber. Not a bad deal that, since you can easily wrap up the singleplayer campaign in that time.

Despite the repetitive boss battles, I feel like this Halo game outdid Halo 4. I just didn’t like H4. It felt too.. uncharacteristic in certain areas. But yeah, Halo 5 was predictable but a fun ride through and through. If you haven’t played it, give it a chance!
