Guild 01, the collection of 4 different games by 4 different directors from Level-5 for the 3DS, which will be hitting the stores in Japan on the 31st of this month, already has a sequel in the works. Guild 02 does not have a release date yet, but already it's looking to be as outlandish as its predecessor. So far 3 games have been announced for Guild 02, with potentially more to be contained within.
ALONE
From the creators of Kamaitachi no Yoru, Kazuya Asano and Takemaru Abiko, comes a new closed-environment suspense game. Developed around the concept of not needing any sort of prior knowledge or even a manual, ALONE features an amnesiac player who awakens in darkness and must find out 3 things: Where they are, what is going on, and who they are.
Mushikera Sensha
Keiji Inafune, the producer of the Rockman (Better known outside of Japan as Megaman) series and Biohazard 2 (Better known outside of Japan as Resident Evil 2 takes tank warfare to a miniature level. A tank battalion that mysteriously disappeared and was presumed dead, find themselves shrunken down and must battle ants and other insects to survive.
Kaijuu ga Deru Kinyoubi
Director Kazu Ayabe is famous for his Boku no Natsuyasumi series, an open-world game that focuses on the innocence and freedom of summer vacation as a child. Now, with Kaijuu ga Deru Kinyoubi, Ayabe seeks to recreate the nostalgic childhood love of giant monsters and heroes battling. The game takes place in a parallel world of early 1970's Japan, where every Friday, giant monsters (or Kaijuu) invade, and the story is told from the eyes of a 10 year old boy.
Guild 02 will also contain a password compatibility with Guild 01, where players will be able to access special features that can only be unlocked if they have both games.
