PlayStation 3 real driving simulator Gran Turismo 5 is off to a great start in Japan, with first week sales topping 430,000 copies, knocking former champ Call of Duty: Black Ops down to sixth place.
But it wasn't just Gran Turismo 5 making big moves this week in Japan. The latest Super Robot Taisen title for the Nintendo DS and sporty game potpourri Mario Sports Mix for the Wii also sold big. Gran Turismo 5's take also benefited from sales of the PlayStation 3 bundle that sports a sweet blue chassis and a copy of Polyphony Digital's racing game thrown in.
