Experience the origin of everyone's favorite vengeful god slayer on November 2 when God of War: Ghost of Sparta hits the PSP, with "the ultimate DLC pack" offered up as a sacrifice to preorder customers.

With 25% more gameplay than Chains of Olympus and the ability to render up to nine enemies on screen at once, Ghost of Sparta is set to trump its PSP predecessor in every way on November 2, the game's newly-revealed release date.

Fans will want to secure their copies early, and those who do will be rewarded with what Sony is calling the "ultimate DLC pack" once the game launches.

So what passes for ultimate these days? Preorder customers will receive the game's original soundtrack, a PSP theme, a dynamic theme for the PlayStation 3, a PSN avatar, a Legionnaire Kratos skin, and a game directors documentary.

The documentary actually sounds like a lot of fun. Recorded in front of a live audience, the full-length video features David Jaffe, Cory Balrog, Stig Asmussen, Ru Weerasuiya and Dana Jan, discussing the past and present of the God of War franchise.

Fans who've misplaced their PSP can also pick up the black and red God of War: Ghost of Sparta PSP bundle, packaged with a voucher to download Chains of Olympus and a copy of Kick Ass on UMD.
