Summary
Boxes Go Wild is a single-player number puzzle game set inside a gothic machine: a gargoyle watches over the board, a bell tower tolls at score milestones and an announcer calls out chain combos. The player taps one of five columns to drop a numbered box. Boxes with equal numbers that touch merge into one box with double the value, and a merge can trigger further merges in a chain. The game ends when a column is full.
Each game starts with three open rows. The launcher is raised by one row at 60, 600 and 4,000 points, up to six rows. At full height, points fill a steam meter that can be released to clear the bottom row, at most twice per game. Steel crates do not merge and break after two adjacent merges. Cursed crates are freed by adjacent merges and then double in value. Chains fill a gauge that doubles scoring for ten drops.
The game has online weekly and all-time leaderboards (no account required), boosters, daily rewards and 33 achievements. It can be played offline and is available in 17 languages.
