That’s not Skyrim. It’s Ark: Survival Evolved. The megalodon of Steam survival games is getting two new biomes today: snow and swamp. There are new creatures populating each, including dire wolves and giant devil frogs. More details here.

Klei continues to expand Don’t Starve, and it’s partnering with Super Time Force developer Capybara Games for the water-based Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked expansion. The PC, Mac, and Linux versions get new “playable characters, biomes, creatures and seasonal effects” this fall, but no word on the other platforms.

This shot of an alien alpaca in a car has little do with Starbound's big upcoming Winter update, but it's still amusing. Speaking of the update, it's scheduled to come out in January, packed with content like tons of new items, a new playable race, ship upgrades, and more biomes. There's a trailer for it below.

With its latest update, Kerbal Space Program has entered beta, inching ever closer to a full release. 0.90.0 augments progression by including a level-up system for both Kerbals and buildings, and adds some new content like extra biomes and spaceship parts.
