Summary

Aux Court is a free browser-based multiplayer music game in which players
battle over music taste. Connected to each player’s Spotify account, matches
revolve around picking real tracks and judging the opponent’s picks, with
verdicts delivered courtroom-style by gavel.

Game modes include Classic duels (turn-based pick-and-judge), Speed rounds
(both players pick and vote simultaneously on timed snippets), King of the
Hill (a lobby where the reigning King defends the throne against a queue of
challengers while the crowd votes), Genre Gauntlet (an elimination mode where
picks must match a target genre, validated against Spotify artist data), and
Streamer Mode (the streamer locks tracks and their audience votes YES or NO
in real time through a public vote page or the Aux Court Twitch extension,
with optional Bits-boosted votes).

Competitive play is organized into one-week seasons with Elo ratings: at the
end of each season the top ten players are inducted into a permanent Hall of
Fame, and ratings reset for the new season. Cosmetic court skins, a global
leaderboard, and English and Québécois French localization are included.
