Gameloft sold more than 2 million of their 27 iPhone games on the App Store in eight months, helping to push the mobile game publisher's revenue up 15 percent in 2008.

The company's 2008 annual results, released this morning, show that seven percent of Gameloft's annual sales came from console games, a new market for the publisher.

Gameloft also points out that they now have 14 games on Google's Android smartphone.

ngmoco and gameloft are the only developers (besides the big ones of course) that actually put good games out on the iphone.. and i dont just mean decent.. but some pretty fun stuff.
