Monte Cristo's city creation game Cities XL is looking very tasty indeed, with the prospect of some large-scale city planning action in the offing. The game will offer Sim-city-esque gaming in a persistent shared-world that will let you visit your fellow players cities and host events in your own 'hood for other planners to attend. Looks like Cities XL will be giving SimCity a run for its money, unless EA Games has just given up on SimCity.
