Famed (infamous?) Japanese voice actress Aya Hirano (Haruhi Suzumiya, Final Fantasy: Dissidia) took to Twitter to complain about something bothering her: A lewd photo.
On Twitter, Hirano asked people to stop sending her links. "I'm too afraid to open then," she wrote. Her Twitter was spammed with a URL that when opened, revealed a penis. The tweet's message was, "So, what do you think of this?"
This comes as (relatively tame) photos of Hirano and a lover appeared in a Japanese tabloid.
"The guy who sent me that horrible picture isn't spamming me anymore," Hirano wrote. "I don't know what he'll do next. Please stop."
Her fears are very real. This past summer, a man accused of threatening Hirano's life via Twitter was arrested.
