Popular pop singer Olivia Rodrigo claims that some of her most dedicated fans are wearing diapers so they can lock down the spots nearest the stage. And uh, well, some of these people are making use of those diapers, and the singer says she has been able to smell them during some performances.
As spotted by NME, during a recent interview with Kiss FM, hosts Tyler West and Chloe Burrows asked about the worst place she’s been forced to use the restroom. Instead of sharing a story about herself, however, she talked about the times she has seen people wear adult diapers at concerts so they can rush to the barricade the moment gates open and never leave that spot. And people are shitting themselves instead of leaving, according to Rodrigo.
“I have been to certain concerts and certain festivals where people wear diapers so that they can be front row of the show,” said the singer behind hits like “Vampire” and “Drop Dead.” “And that’s been an experience as a performer that I have smelled.”

She further explained that during a performance in New York City on New Year’s Eve, many fans up front were wearing diapers and hanging about all day to see her perform.
“Everyone is wearing diapers; they sit there all day. I think about it kind of often.”
This isn’t the first time fans have worn diapers to stick around for as long as possible during a concert. Taylor Swift superfans also claimed to have donned adult diapers so they didn’t have to go to the bathroom and possibly miss a moment of the concert. I wonder if Swift ever smelled shit while singing?
