The Clone Wars cartoon often felt like just a weekly commercial for a new slightly-different-colored Clone Trooper that could be turned into an action figure. Good for selling some toys in the short term, bad for making a lasting cultural impact. If these images are accurate, Episode VII's troops will return to the classic stark white and black.

Like everything else teased so far, the designs look like they'd be very much at home in a continuation of the original series. The second design's prominent air-filtration-like nozzles look appropriate for hard weather or torch use.
