Disney's new Mickey Mouse adventure already looks spectacular, but some discriminating video game fans would rather see Epic Mickey running on something more powerful than the Wii. Thankfully, the Dolphin emulator can give us a taste of Mickey in HD.
It appears that some lucky gamers have gotten their hands on Disney Epic Mickey before the game's late November release date, running it through GameCube and Wii emulator Dolphin to see how the game fares at higher resolutions. Unsurprisingly, Epic Mickey in 1080p looks quite sharp, certainly the way I'd like to play the game, given the option. But since Junction Point's take on Mickey Mouse is strictly Wii right now, beggars can't be choosers.
Watch the HD version at YouTube if more pixels appeals to you, potential Epic Mickey purchaser. (Also see how New Super Mario Bros. Wii and other Wii games look in 1080p.)
